CSoG - Established CSoG was a vision of local founder Sharon, who wanted to introduce the craft and skills of competitive gymnastics to the local community. Having been fascinated by the art of circus acrobats at an early age, Sharon developed her idea into reality. A bold and thoughtful approach to the then Prince Charles for financial support via the Princes Trust, Sharon was able to purchase four blue gymnastic mats, from which the dream became a reality and the reality an international success story. From a single one hour a week class, CSoG have grown to now provide a seven-day gymnastics training programme. This humble start for Sharon has seen her mentor and lead a team of now, over 25 qualified Gymnastics Sport Leaders and Coaches. CSoG offers Gymnastics for All classes in other satellite venues, all feeding gymnasts into CSoG competitive squad. Our aim is to have a gymnast in every household and a Welsh gymnast on every international podium. Expanded opportunities for children in Carmarthenshire to participate in gymnastics. CSoG - Cross Hands Opens Opened a state-of-the-art Gymnastics Centre in Crosshands, Carmarthenshire addressing the pressing lack of facilities in Carmarthenshire to further boost articipation on F.I.G training equipment. 2014 CSoG - Tumbling Success Since 2020, over 10 gymnasts have been selected each year to represent Wales as a region within the British Tumbling RCC Inter-Regional Finals Tumbling Championship. Notable achievements: 2022: Rose Burson – British Bronze Medallist. 2023: Florence Williams – British Bronze Medallist, Nel McWilliams – British Silver Medallist. 2024: Griff Mackintosh-Jones – British Silver Medallist. CSoG - Elite Inspiration In 2018, Jade Evans representing TEAM GB, won a World Silver Medal at the World Age Group Tumbling Championship in St. Petersburg, Russia. This inspired the rise of Elite Pathway gymnasts at CSoG, with Welsh, British and International Tumbling Championships representatives. 2018 2020 CSoG - International Achievements 2023 Six gymnasts represented Team Wales at the 16th International Loule Tumbling Cup in Portugal. Luca Burgess-Williams: Team Wales: - Bronze Team Medallist & Individual: Silver Medallist. In the same year, Jade represented CSoG in the 2023 British Tumbling Championship, winning a British Bronze Medal. > 2023 2024 CSoG - International Achievements 2024 Five gymnasts represented Team Wales in the 2024 French Tumbling Cup in Paris, with Florence, Jade and Luca competing in the finals and finishing in the top ten of the World Tumblers. Mared our youngest F.I.G gymnast made her debut performance at the 2024 British Tumbling Championship to win her first ever British Silver Medal.
